Peabody 2025-26 Arts Alive Series

Peabody Township Library, and The Sunflower Theatre have partnered together and are excited to announce receiving a $20,000 Innovative Partnership Grant from the Kansas Arts Commission to fund the coming Peabody 2025-26 Arts Alive Series. The series will feature a variety of artists, featuring everything from spam carving to the Latino dance troupe Ballet Folklorico de Topeka.

The grant also funds well-known public works artist, Erika Nelson, who will create pubic artwork based on the unique fireworks framework featured at Peabody’s 4th Fest. Erika spent the 4th of July in Peabody, exploring our wonderful community and meeting with 4th Fest volunteers.

We are happy to have such a great community and look forward to working together as we move forward! We are also very appreciative of the support received from the Kansas Arts Commission and the National Endowment for the Arts.
